Harambee for Sustainable Shared Futures

The Joint World Conference on Social Work, Education and Social Development is a biennial global event jointly presented by three key partner organizations: the International Association of Schools of Social Work, the International Council on Social Welfare, and the International Federation of Social Workers. The conference presents a platform to share experiences and insights on current trends and best practices in social work, social work education, and social development worldwide.

Today, social workers and social development practitioners face increasingly complex challenges, including issues of social welfare, development and participation, and the impacts of war, climate change, growing inequality, and persistent poverty. This conference, hosted by the Kenya National Association of Social Workers, will bring together professionals, educators, researchers, students, agencies, government officials, and community members from diverse countries and contexts to explore these pressing issues and build collaborative solutions.
